Swiss Startup Factory partners with Fintech Fusion

Mike Baur has announced that Zurich-based Swiss Startup Factory will join forces with Geneva-based Fintech Fusion to develop the Swiss startup ecosystem. The two ICT accelerators join forces to bridge the gap between the French and Swiss startups. Interestingly, Fintech Fusion and Swiss Startup Factory complement one another in their infrastructure and goal orientation. In joining forces, Swiss Startup Factory and Fintech Fusion will collaborate on startup acceleration, mentor network exchange, shared office space, joint events, and during the startup selection process.

According to Guillaume Dubray, the entire world experiences digital transformation. Therefore, Switzerland as a leader in innovation provides excellent conditions for digital entrepreneurs to thrive. Here, startups have access to training platforms, startup hubs, and an extended professional network throughout the nation. With the new partnership, the two accelerators will bring unique and excellent business-driven platforms in the Swiss startup ecosystem.

In response to Mr. Dubray’s comment, Mike Baur said that Switzerland lacks adequate efforts to concentrate its strengths and resources due to linguistic barriers. However, the collaborative efforts between Fintech Fusion and Swiss Startup Factory mark the beginning of a partnership that transcends language and geographical barriers by scrapping off traditional barriers.
