The Quincy is a 206 unit apartment complex located in North Brunswick, NJ. The residence is owned by a company called Alliance Residential. The complex offers state-of-the-art appliances, onsite garage, rooftop pool, and fitness center. The Quincy is conveniently located in downtown New Brunswick, next to all of the major public transportation hubs. There are bars, restaurants, and lounges nearby for residents looking to relax. The complex is 1000 feet away from the Raritan River. The complex was built in an effort to revitalize the area. With many struggling parts, developers and the City of New Brunswick decided to bring a apartment complex that would cater to those willing to spend a little but more on rent. The eight-story building has apartments ranging from studios to two bedrooms. Residents have stone countertops, walk-in closets, and wooden floors in each apartment.
The Quincy have seen some pretty unfortunate events in the last couple of years. A few years back a pizza delivery man for a pizzeria was robbed when attempting to deliver pizza at the residence in New Brunswick. Three male suspects robbed the unsuspecting delivery man at gunpoint. They took his wallet, money and the pizza. One suspect was arrested in connection with the robbery. Investigators found cell phone evidence that tagged him to the crime.
On October 7, 2015, an individual was left injured after being shot near The Quincy. At around 9:30 in the evening, people at the property heard three to four gun shots. Police were called to the residence and quickly responded. The injured victim was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. The investigation is ongoing as more clues are surfacing.
